The death of a Saint

Sometimes it's hard to believe that the world keeps turning when the heartbeat of a saint falls silent.  It seems that there should be but a second where the whole earth waits in anticipation for the next breath that never comes.  

But life goes on.  

Here on earth, life just goes on like nothing happened.  

I would bet that in Heaven there is, instead of a moment of silence, a moment of celebration, but down here, we don't quite feel like celebrating.  They've gained an incredible soul, one that we have lost all too soon.  But we join with Heaven in celebrating her pain-free eternity with Him.
